A fascination with a series of horrible crimes in London c.1888 has led to the inevitable affliction known as "Ripperology". The following demonstrates some of the symptoms characteristic of a "Ripperologist".
One of the most infamous, brutal and misunderstood series' of unsolved crimes in modern history, the "Whitechapel Murders" have fascinated, baffled and frustrated experts and enthusiasts alike for more than 120 years. Regrettably, these crimes will probably remain "unsolved" forever, despite the diligence and tenacity of today's researchers and historians. But a sliver of hope remains.
